My Story

I wasn't always dedicated to fitness and lifting heavy.

My journey into becoming a trainer and turning strength training into a career and passion stems from a life-long battle with my body weight.

where it started

I had always been into sports. Swimming, wrestling, rowing, Rugby, i never wasn't active with some sort of sport.

However, i was never able to control my weight. I lacked the discipline to avoid or limit fatty foods, lied and hid snacks so I could enjoy them whenever, and always blamed external factors on my inability to control my weight.

As I grew up, I battled with weight management on many occasions.

where it led

Sometime after my 25th birthday, i stepped onto a scale and saw the weight had hit 320 lbs. It wasn't new seeing a ludicrous number, but this was the time that hit me deepest.

I thought to myself: "if i dont fix this by the time I turn 30, it'll never happen."

The very next day, I took the earliest morning train to use my office's gym, with no plan other than 'work out every day' carrying me forward. Not long after, I met a trainer who would change the course of this journey forever.

Working with him, i learned the foundations of barbell and strength training, the simple complexity of meal prepping and macro tracking, and developing a love for picking up heavier and heavier weights.

where it's going

After seeing so much success with my own training, programming, and body fat loss i had a major change of pace.

Realizing I knew the ins and outs of getting stronger, losing weight, and feeling overall more capable of tackling daily life, I had come to understand how difficult yet transformative of a process it all is.

I eventually left my previous full time career in Architecture and tookk up training as a hobby/second job. I studied, became certified, and have now worked as a trainer for multiple years, guiding dozens of clients towards success.

I've worked with the everyday person looking to get in better shape, powerlifters, bodybuilders, and even trained some clients through the entirety of a pregnancy. All I desire in the fitness world is to help others find the same level of peace and fulfillment I have from strength training and building muscle mass, and I dedicate every fiber of my being to helping you achieve such success!
